Plant Based Dog Food

Yes, I am aware that to many of you this sounds ridiculous, but please take a minute to think about it.

The first ingredient in dog food is chicken. I’m pretty sure I’ve never seen a domestic dog try to eat a chicken.

I can’t be the only one who thinks this is an odd concept. I mean, would you kill your dog to feed a chicken?

If not, why? What’s the difference between dogs and chickens?

They both feel pain, love their friends and family, have sophisticated communication etc.

Dogs are omnivores, but do domestic dogs really need the meat? Obviously that is up for debate, but after doing my research I’ve come to the conclusion that my dog will live a healthier life without it.

I don’t support factory farming in all other areas of my life, so I can’t make an exception here.

I’m sure my dog would thank me for it if she could because dog food is full of cancerous tissue and animal parts ‘not fit for human consumption’, including intestines, udders, heads, hooves, and possibly diseased animal parts.

Evolution is a totally plant based (vegan) dog food with lots of protein and all the nutrients a dog needs to live a long, healthy life.

You can go to their site to order.

I feel guilty for all the chickens that were killed to feed my dog before I had this epiphany. But when you know better you do better (right Oprah?) and that’s all I can do.
